Classes

The McOnie Company classes were launched in 2015 as a training platform for dancers specifically within the Theatre Dance community. Held at the world renowned Pineapple Dance Studios, these classes have introduced the work of the company to a new generation of training artists. For many dancers they have also been a gateway to performing in Drew’s productions, both for the company and beyond.

These Advanced/Professional classes are usually held from 7-9pm on Thursdays at Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden; however, company training has currently paused. Please keep your eyes on the company’s social media channels for news of the return to the studio.

All funds raised from these classes go towards developing new work for the company’s repertoire.

If you are planning on joining us, come wearing clothes you are comfortable in. The technical section of class is usually done in socks or bare feet. We usually dance in trainers or show shoes for the combination; however, this is totally up to you.
